35 lakh marriages; Rs. 4.25 Lakh Crore Business... Is this much cost..?
The idea of having a lavish wedding is widespread among people. In that way, it can be said that the business for weddings has increased, starting from photo to wedding.
In this situation, there are 35 lakh weddings in India this year and the wedding business is worth Rs. 4.25 lakh crore is expected to happen,' said the All India Traders Federation. The first wedding season is from November 23 to December 15.In the information released by CAIT in this regard…
* Up to 35 lakh marriages will take place this year. In the first 23 days of the wedding season, around 6 lakh weddings are estimated to cost Rs 3 lakh per wedding.
* Out of about 10 lakh weddings, one wedding costs Rs.6 lakh. About 12 lakh weddings cost Rs 10 lakh per wedding.
* For 6 lakh weddings the cost per wedding is Rs.25 lakh. 50,000 weddings will cost Rs.50 lakh. The remaining 50,000 weddings are estimated to cost Rs 1 crore or more.
* In Delhi alone, more than 3.5 lakh weddings take place this wedding season. Through this, it is expected that around 1 lakh crore rupees trade will be done in Delhi alone.
The next phase of the wedding season starts in mid-January and continues till July.
In every wedding, apart from buying accessories, wedding hall decoration, flower arrangement, catering service, travel service, cab service, vegetable vendors, DJ, photographers, videographer are involved in various tasks. Managing all these has emerged as a huge business opportunity (Wedding Management). About the rise in marriages and related businesses, CAIT national president BC Parthia said, ``Last year, around 32 lakh marriages took place during the same period. Further, the expenditure for this is estimated at 3.75 lakh crores.
Considering the good business opportunities of the wedding season, traders across the country have made elaborate arrangements.
20 percent of the cost of every wedding goes to the bride. 80 per cent of the expenses go to other third parties that arrange marriages.
