Introducing the new Grand Seiko Heritage 44GS

In 1967, Grand Seiko introduced the 44GS, a discount replica watches that set the tone for Grand Seiko style. Now, this classic watch has been reinterpreted for a new era. It retains the clean corners, curved sides, flat surfaces and simple dial design, while retaining its signature thin profile.

Recently, the Japanese watchmaker began offering models with the smallest case diameter in the series, measuring 36.5mm, a diameter also adopted by the two latest additions to the Heritage 44GS series.

With a stainless steel case measuring 11.6mm thick and 42.7mm from lug to lug, this watch is polished using Grand Seiko's signature Zaratsu method and features a slim polished bezel. These proportions are very similar to the original 44GS, although it is slightly thicker.
