Polar Bear | The award for best wildlife photography is presented annually by London's Natural History Museum.
A photo of a polar bear sleeping on a glacier has been voted the best wildlife photo by people.
The award for best wildlife photography is presented annually by London's Natural History Museum. Accordingly, a total of 50,000 people from around 90 countries participated in this year's competition.
All contestants submitted their best wildlife photographs. The best 25 photos were selected from them. A photo of a polar bear sleeping on a glacier was chosen as the best picture. This photo was taken by British based photographer Nima Sarigani.
I spent 3 days searching for polar bears in thick fog. Accordingly I went to the place where there is more snow. I saw small and big karasis there. We waited for about 8 hours. Then at midnight the young bear climbed onto the small iceberg and used its strong paws to make a level bed. I took it as a separate film," said Nima.
