👉 Tirupur Sikkanna Government College Campus, new drinking water projects for the areas under Tirupur Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs.1,120.5 crore, joint drinking water projects for 165 rural settlements belonging to the Tirupur Panchayat Union at a cost of Rs.70.43 crore, new multi-purpose hall at a cost of Rs.53.48 crore and new multi-purpose parking lot at a cost of Rs.12.87 crore.
👉 Inauguration ceremony and government welfare program assistance ceremony was held. Minister Udayanidhi Stalin was present and inaugurated the projects. Speaking on the occasion, he said that he had come for the first time on a government visit to the place where Father Periyar and Elder Anna met for the first time. He said that they would have said that Tiruppur is the center of Tamil Nadu that will make Vandar live. The chief minister, including myself, said that the products used at home were produced by women's self-help groups.
👉 He alleged that out of the 6 lakh crore rupees we gave to the central government, we got back only 1 lakh 26 thousand crore rupees. They said that if Tamil Nadu gives 1 rupee to the central government, only 29 paise is returned, Chief Minister Stalin is implementing schemes for the people even in crisis.
