Who doesn't like flowers? Love for it is a little too much. There is a crowd to admire the flower on the plant. There is also a group of people who pick it and heat it to see its beauty. In this way, the Tamil Nadu Department of Horticulture is organizing a grand flower exhibition to help the residents of Chennai to see and enjoy the flowers here without having to go to Kodaikanal. The grand exhibition will be held from February 10 to 20 at Semmozhi Park near Anna Mempalam, Chennai.
Public is allowed from 10 am to 7 pm. The entrance fee is Rs.150 for adults and Rs.75 for children below 15 years of age.
With around 13 lakh flowers, this exhibition presents a pleasant sight to the eyes. Colorful flowers and decorative arches attract visitors. Flowers are also displayed in various forms including elephant, young lady, cup and saucer.

Agriculture Secretary Apoorva said that in Utkai, the exhibition is held with only one and a half lakh flowers, but in Chennai, it is bigger than Utkai as it is held with 13 lakh flowers.
At the same time, the public has said that the entry fee of Rs.150 is a bit high. But agriculture officials say the fee is not high as it is a very costly fair. On Saturdays and Sundays, many people who go to many places like theater, beach, mall, come with their families to Semmozhi Park and enjoy seeing the flowers.
