In a press release issued by Deputy Director of Ambasamudram Division, Ilayaraja said, "There is no need to approach Kalakadu Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve, Ambasamudram Divisional Deputy Director's Office or Ambasamudram Forestry Office to visit Mancholai.

Go to the Manimuttar forest check booth and go to the forest guard in person and provide the vehicle registration certificate copy, vehicle insurance copy, Aadhaar copy, get permission, pay the entry fee, get the receipt and go back. Only 10 four wheelers are allowed per day. Two-wheelers, vans, open vehicles are not allowed. Only 10 vehicles for mountain road will be allowed on priority basis.
Passengers are allowed according to the number of seats in the vehicle. Tourists will be allowed from 8 am onwards. Go to Kakachi grassland and return by 5 pm. In case of mistake, action will be taken as per forest rules. Prohibited inflammables, alcoholic beverages, polythene bags are not allowed to be carried during the journey.
