India's first underwater metro .. Airtel will provide amazing network service!
India's first underwater metro rail service connecting Kolkata with Howrah will be operational from June 2024.
Bharti Airtel, one of India's leading telecom companies, has announced a pioneering scheme. This means that India's first underwater metro train has built high-capacity terminals under 35 feet in the Hooghly River to provide seamless connectivity to commuters.

With this, Airtel has become the first operator to provide non-accommodating network on the entire 4.8 km stretch of Kolkata's east-west route connecting Howrah Maidan to Esplanade. Airtel has fiber connected all the metro stations along this route.
For this, high capacity terminals are provided at each metro station. Through this, passengers can get 5G speed internet facility and communicate with others through uninterrupted calls. This allows you to talk to your loved ones and do work-related things while traveling on the train.

We will go to any lengths to provide the best service to our customers. We have given new access to the passengers by making the network possible in the tunnel under the river.
With this, you can stream high-quality gaming and video while enjoying the beauty of the river Ganga on the train. Airtel has said that photos can be posted on social media.
India's first underwater metro rail service connecting Kolkata with Howrah will be operational from June 2024. The trial run for this from Howrah Maidan to Esplanade was held on April 12, 2023. A 6.1 m wide tunnel has been laid under Hooghly River for this train service. It is noteworthy that the work was completed in just 66 days.
