School Education Minister Anbil Mahes has announced that bank accounts will be opened at school for the students joining sixth standard in the coming academic year.
In order to improve this work, Minister Anbil Mahes has said that the facility of opening bank accounts has been created for all the students who will join the sixth standard in the academic year 2024-25 through the school, and then Aadhaar will be updated and the work of linking Aadhaar registration with bank account will be carried out.
He has been asked to submit the required documents to the school headmaster at the time of joining the 6th standard to get 4 types of certificates such as caste, income, location proof and if he is a first generation graduate, to facilitate applying for higher education and employment after completing his schooling.
Anbil Mages said in the statement that the applications will be entered on the EMS platform and forwarded to the revenue department, which will then be sent to the schools through the same platform and certificates will be issued to the students.
